About the Festival
Noor: Festival of Lights is a festival that invites everyone to experience the warmth and magic of Diwali, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil, hope, renewal, and the beginning of new journeys. To be held at Al Seef, Dubai, Noor reflects the city’s essence of unity in diversity, bringing together people of all backgrounds for three days of immersive cultural experiences from 25th to 27th October 2024.
Produced by Teamwork Arts in collaboration with the Consulate General of India in Dubai, Al Seef, and Dubai Economy & Tourism, the festival will feature a range of incredible offerings including a grand procession of giant puppets, live music from across India, theatre, dastangoi, and stand-up comedy.
The celebration will culminate in an explosion of choreographed fireworks across the Dubai night sky, symbolizing the victory of light over darkness and marking the festive joy of Diwali. In keeping with the spirit of Diwali, Noor will also offer immersive workshops to foster community engagement, including rangoli-making and an energetic drumming experience.
More than just a festival, Noor is an invitation to come together in the true spirit of Diwali. Dubai, a city renowned for its cosmopolitan nature, serves as the perfect host for this cultural extravaganza that transcends boundaries, embodying the universal message behind Diwali.
